MEET THE TEAM
The team at CSP has always been a source of tremendous pride. These are the people who make it happen in the fields and the offices of our operations. They are each talented at what they do—and we encourage them to be involved and make a difference in their respective roles.
I am very proud to lead this talented group. They each add something important and unique to what we do—and I truly enjoy watching the process and results from this fine team. People often ask me what is the best thing we grow here… that’s like asking me who my favorite kid is. The truth is most everything we do is pretty amazing at the right moment, and it’s about finding that window of time, or as we say, “the sweet spot”.
As Vice President & Chief Operations Officer of this vertically integrated family farm we take pride in growing, packing, and selling both conventional and organic crops. We have a great team of individuals that continue to contribute fresh new ideas to our growing company. Our hope is that our customers know where their food comes from, in hopes that they fully appreciate California farming and the farming communities that make it happen.
I am a military veteran with over twenty five years of project and financial management in food production, manufacturing, and the public sector, bringing with me master’s degrees in both business administration and accounting. I have been with CSP since 2014, focusing our efforts on improving profitability through the development of a superior product and customer mix.
I have over 20 years of produce sales experience. At CSP we have the unique opportunity to be hands on from the field to the shipping dock. We ensure the best possible quality for our customers, all of whom I enjoy working and building friendships with that help grow our business. When away from work I enjoy my time with my wife and children.
I was born and raised in Bakersfield, the sweet spot of California! I am a proud Alum and former Student-Athlete from Providence College in Providence, RI. Drawn back to my roots, I moved home to pursue my interests in produce sales. I am honored to be a part of the Country Sweet Produce team and selling quality produce that is locally grown. With a foundation of family and community, Country Sweet Produce invites each employee to be a valued part of a bigger picture. My position allows me to bring life to new items and deliver exceptional produce from the farm to the table. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my two active little girls and my amazing husband.
I’ve been working here at CSP since 2008 and have had the pleasure of working in Shipping, Receiving, and now Sales. I look forward to being a part of the continued growth and evolution of Country Sweet Produce! In my spare time I enjoy watching all types of sporting events and especially love USC football! Fight on!
I have been working with the Valpredo and Martinez families since the days even before Country Sweet Produce. I have tried to bring great expertise to the sweet potato business in particular and take pride in working with some of the long tenured customers and partners of CSP with all of the items we grow.
I started as the Shipping Coordinator for CSP. Through the years CSP has given me the opportunity to expand my roles and responsibilites into different areas of the company. My new responsibilties allow me to apply my knowledge and experience to purchasing, inventory management for packaging and materials, and sales support. I enjoy coordinating with sales and production to complete detailed packout reports and help determine accurate inventory levels at the end of each day. During my sparetime I enjoy watching movies, spending time with the family and BBQing.
I have worked in the produce and food processing industries since I was 19 years old. I have over 30 years in Food Safety, Quality Assurance, Employee Safety and Environmental Management. In my role with the company I use all I have learned to help produce safe foods and safe employees. I come from a background of integrity, respect, gratitude and passion and apply all of those in what I do each day. It is truly a pleasure to work with such a talented team here.
What I like about my job is that I stay busy, I work comfortably, and the day goes by quickly. Another thing I like is that I do multiple jobs and learn new things every day. One thing that consumers or customers can learn about me is that I’ve been working with this company for 17 years and that I’m always doing the best I can for the product to arrive in high quality at the stores.
Hello! I oversee the orders being packed, I assure the quality is good, and at the end of the day, I send an e-mail explaining the plan for packing for the following day. One thing I like about my job is that my superiors recognize when my job is well done!
I joined the team In 2011 as an Executive Assistant. I am currently a part of the Accounting team where I assist in many areas of our operations. When at home, I enjoy time with my wonderful family and cheering on my favorite sports teams.
I have been with Country Sweet Produce since 2010. I started in transportation bringing product from our fields to the facility and making deliveries to our local customers. I did night shipping for a couple of years. Now I am in charge of receiving and tracking our bulk inventory. I have enjoyed the many challenges and opportunities that our company has provided.
I started working at Country Sweet Produce in 2011, as a forklift driver and have worked my way up to facility supervisor. Hard work and dedication have given me the opportunity of moving up in this company, and of course the Valpredo and Martinez families. I enjoy very much what I do for a living, moving forward I hope to continue working for Country Sweet Produce.
Employees are treated with respect, and the company is good at putting employees in positions to maximize their strengths. Each day I am presented with new challenges and situations, which really helps me to stay focused and interested.
I began my career here at Country Sweet Produce in 2016. I started out in charge of the ammonia and refrigeration system and quickly started helping out in other departments such as Receiving and Inventory. My favorite part about working here is that everyone works as a team to get the job done and keep our customers happy. I plan on continuing my growth and expanding my knowledge here at CSP and I look forward to the challenges that the company brings to my future.
I have been with Country Sweet Produce since the summer of 2014 as a shipping coordinator. This position has brought many new challenges and great experience. I look forward to all the opportunities the company provides. Out of work my life revolves around God and my Family.
